Elegance and glamour are the keywords for this Chateau Des Charmes wedding. Our beautiful bride, Lisa, prepped at the White Oaks resort, choosing a bold red lip, classic eyeliner and a soft vintage wavy hair style. The invitations were matched perfectly with the theme of this wedding, 1920’s glamour.

Our groom, Shawn, first saw his bride at the Chateau, standing above the room where they would later exchange vows. We loved the groomsmen dressed in their military uniforms, formidable and very handsome. The vibrant red hue of the uniforms was the perfect pop of colour in this couples ceremony. Their grand exit was just that – they walked under an arch of sabres!

Wedding guests were treated to an elegant affair with a live 5 piece band and opulent decor by Simply Beautiful in deep shades of gold combined with black sequined linen, and just the right amount of feathers. So unique! The grooms saber was used for the cake cutting ceremony, another distinct reflection of our couples style.

The reception was a lively soiree, with our newlyweds kicking off the evening with a choreographed first dance. The bride transformed into a flapper right out of the 20’s in her gorgeous silver sequined gown and dancin’ shoes! Capturing all the magic was Gemini Photography. What a night!

Set on a perfect sunny day in the stunning vineyards of Ravine Winery, Barbara and Roberto’s sweet ceremony was an absolute delight. Bright florals in bold tones beautifully complimented the lush greens of the vineyards, with rich shades of red, purple and blue found in the bride’s bouquet, the canopy florals, and in the flower crowns worn by Roberto’s twin daughters. We loved how Paje Honor, of Honor Beauty, styled the hair and makeup. Especially those bold lips! Thank you to Kirk and Angela from Afterglow Images for sharing these stunning photo’s with us – We love the adorable picture of Barbara and her son in their matching silver kicks!

Barbara and Roberto included a custom cake and special floral arrangement to celebrate Roberto’s mothers birthday. Ravine staff decorated this cake beautifully, and the warm lighting and golden tones of the space complimented our bold florals perfectly. What a dream! Congratulations to our bride and groom!

When Natalie at Celebrate Niagara invited us to meet with bride Teresa, we were thrilled to quote on another Stratus wedding. Drawing inspiration from bridal magazines, Teresa knew exactly what she wanted, an elegant and vintage feel to celebrate her marriage to Richard. Awash in hues of pink and blush, Teresa’s bouquet of roses, white phalaenopsis orchids, snow berry and eucalyptus complimented the elegance of her lace halter-style dress. The ceremony in the round was held under a romantic draped canopy, and officiated by the lovely Kathy Davis at Kettle Creek Weddings. With acres of grape vines in the background, an acoustic guitarist, and delicious hors d’oeuvres by Treadwell Farm to Table Cuisine, this Stratus Vineyards wedding was an affair to remember! Guests excitedly gathered in Press Alley, to be greeted by the impressive 90 foot reception table, adorned with menus by Defining Moments Stationary. A combination of slate planters, mercury glass, candlelight, and an array of florals provided a counterpoint to the industrial atmosphere of the venue. A trio of cakes designed by Willow Cakes perched on brass candle sticks greeted the guests, another idea from Teresa’s storyboard. The wine was flowing, and the couple was glowing with love. It’s a wedding made for sharing, thanks to Avenue Photo for capturing all the beautiful details!
